TeleSciences Station Message Detail Recording solution provides easy access to near real-time details about telephone calls. Compatible with a wide variety of equipment vendors, this unit can be installed in a Central Office or centrally in your datacenter. A web interface allows your customers to subscribe to their SMDR feed or to collect records on a configurable schedule.
TeleSciences has combined its world-leading mediation C++ architecture with powerful Relational Database applications to provide the SMDR solution.
Intercession layer
TeleSciences SMDR™ is able to connect to any network type and collect records in any format.
Input Modules can be configured to collect data from all the leading switching vendors including Alcatel, Ericsson, Fujitsu, Huawei, NEC, Nokia, Nortel, Panasonic, Lucent, Samsung, Siemens and ZTE.
The Intercession Layer also controls the interfaces back to a customer, allowing the data to be scheduled for transmission or available for subscription.
TeleSciences technology is fully redundant, providing high availability, so network data is always available for presentation to your customer as well as your call center agents.
Transactional layer
The Transaction Layer is the reference repository for all data specific to the customer, such as a user’s preferences for the presentation and formatting of the SMDR data.
This layer is asynchronously decoupled from back-office systems, improving responsiveness and reliability as well as protecting the service provider’s mission-critical BSS/OSS from unwarranted traffic and potential security infringement.
Distribution layer
The Distribution Layer allows customers to subscribe to their data feeds or to configure a transmission schedule.
TeleSciences unified security framework prevents unauthorized access to specific data.
